Paid Search Manager

Remote

Grove Collaborative is a sustainability-focused consumer products company creating household and personal care essentials that are effective, beautifully designed, and healthier for people and the planet. We are a certified B Corp, plastic-neutral, and on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good.

THE ROLE

Grove is looking for a strategic and hands-on Paid Search Manager to scale and optimize Grove’s search marketing programs across Google Ads, with a strong focus on Search, Google Shopping, and Performance Max. You’ll manage campaigns that span the entire customer lifecycle while also owning the health and performance of a 5,000+ SKU product catalog feed. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a data-driven, fast-moving environment and is equally comfortable deep in the weeds of campaign optimization and thinking strategically about growth. Your work will directly impact Grove’s ability to reach new customers, drive repeat purchases, and deliver on our mission to help families choose healthier, more sustainable products for their homes.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of paid search campaigns across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max from keyword research and ad creation to bid management and creative testing
  • Manage and optimize campaign performance: keyword research, bidding strategies, ad creation, creative testing, and budget allocation to maximize ROAS and CPA efficiency
  • Develop and execute a testing roadmap to continuously improve results and scale winning strategies
  • Own and manage the product catalog feed for over 5,000 SKUs, ensuring accuracy, optimization, and performance through tools like Google Merchant Center and Feedonomics
  • Monitor performance, analyze results, and provide insights that influence broader growth marketing and merchandising strategies
  • Partner with marketing, creative & merchandising teams to develop and optimize ad copy, creative assets, and landing pages that improve CTR, conversion, and ROAS
  • Stay ahead of platform advancements (automation, AI-driven bidding, campaign types) and apply them strategically to drive growth
  • Collaborate with site and content teams to explore cross-channel synergies, supporting broader search visibility (SEO) and testing opportunities across both paid and organic search
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AIO (AI Optimization) practices to ensure Grove’s search programs remain competitive as AI reshapes both paid and organic performance channels
  • Manage budgets and forecasting to ensure efficient allocation of spend across campaigns and product categories

ABOUT YOU

Must-have experiences & skills:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale paid search programs in-house
  • Proven track record with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) and feed management tools (Google Merchant Center, Feedonomics, or similar)
  • Experience managing large product catalogs (1,000+ SKUs) with attention to data integrity and optimization
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with tools like Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics, and Google Merchant Center
  • Expertise in keyword research, bidding strategies (manual and automated), and creative optimization
  • Strong understanding of bidding strategies, automation, budget allocation, and campaign segmentation
  • History of building and executing testing roadmaps with measurable performance outcomes

You will thrive at Grove if you:

  • Bring a test-and-learn mindset, with a balance of analytical rigor and creative problem-solving
  • Are highly detail-oriented and organized, able to manage complex campaigns and data feeds while keeping an eye on broader business goals
  • Are a self-starter who is inquisitive, proactive, and always looking for new opportunities to optimize performance and drive growth
  • Are excited by the opportunity to expand your skill set into adjacent areas like SEO and AIO readiness, collaborating across teams to explore innovative search strategies

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
