Senior Manager, Marketplace & Retail Channels

Remote

Grove Collaborative is a sustainability-focused consumer products company creating household and personal care essentials that are effective, beautifully designed, and healthier for people and the planet. We are a certified B Corp, plastic-neutral, and on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced marketplace operator to help scale our portfolio of owned brands across Amazon, TikTok Shop, QVC, and iHerb. Amazon is a growth driver, and this role is focused on driving performance and execution across channels, with strong ownership of how work gets done day-to-day. You’ll partner closely with the VP of Merchandising, our Amazon agency, QVC broker, and cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into clear plans, disciplined execution, and measurable results.

This is a Senior Manager role—you’ll operate with a high degree of independence, lead complex workstreams, and influence outcomes across teams, while not owning the full business segment strategy. You will also have a small internal team reporting to you.

You’ll need to be someone who can navigate ambiguity, make strong tactical decisions, and keep the business moving forward when things aren’t clearly defined.

What You’ll Own

Channel Strategy & Execution

  • Support and execute channel strategy across Amazon, TikTok Shop, QVC, and iHerb
  • Drive performance against:
    • Revenue targets
    • Contribution profit goals
    • Inventory and margin guardrails
  • Translate high-level priorities into channel-level action plans

Amazon Growth Execution

  • Lead execution of Amazon strategy across owned brands, including:
    • Assortment
    • Pricing and promotions
    • Content and merchandising
    • Subscribe & Save
  • Partner with agency to ensure priorities are clearly defined and delivered

Agency & Broker Management

  • Manage Amazon agency and QVC broker relationships
  • Set expectations, track deliverables, and ensure follow-through
  • Escalate issues and adjust direction when performance or priorities shift

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with:
    • Finance
    • Inventory / Supply Chain
    • Owned Brands teams
  • Align execution with:
    • Inventory constraints
    • Financial targets
    • Brand priorities

Forecasting & Operational Planning

  • Support channel forecasting and inventory planning
  • Ensure plans align with operational realities and business goals
  • Flag risks early and recommend adjustments

How You’ll Show Up

At Grove, this role is about being a strong, independent operator who can manage complexity, influence across teams, and drive execution in evolving conditions.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 7+ years in ecommerce or marketplace roles with direct Amazon ownership
  • Hands-on experience with Seller Central or Vendor Central
  • Experience managing external agencies and holding them accountable
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel / Google Sheets)
  • Experience working across multi-brand or multi-SKU portfolios
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Hands-on operator mindset

Nice to Have

  • TikTok Shop experience
  • QVC / HSN or live commerce exposure
  • iHerb or specialty retail experience
  • Consumer products or CPG background
  • Brand management exposure
  • Experience working with inventory planning

What This Role Is (and Isn’t)

  • You will:
    • Drive execution and influence outcomes across multiple channels
    • Translate strategy into action
  • You will not:
    • Own full P&L strategy at the enterprise level
    • Define company-wide direction

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • Amazon delivers strong growth within defined performance guardrails
  • Execution across channels is consistent, disciplined, and less reactive
  • Agency and broker relationships are structured and accountable
  • Cross-functional partners have clear visibility into priorities and tradeoffs
  • Marketplace operations run with improved clarity, cadence, and accountability

What’s In It for You

  • This full-time, exempt position is remote for candidates based in the following states: California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
  • Competitive benefits - medical, vision, dental
  • Equity - shared success is core to our mission
  • Flexible Paid Time Off - we care most about results
  • Free VIP membership and 25% employee discount
  • Working for a company that believes that a small group of people can change the world for the better by creating products and funding initiatives that help the planet!

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $125,000-156,000. Our compensation bands are determined based on market-specific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for the most experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for an annual incentive target and equity.

Form CC-305

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
