Senior Manager, Marketplace & Retail Channels
Grove Collaborative is a sustainability-focused consumer products company creating household and personal care essentials that are effective, beautifully designed, and healthier for people and the planet. We are a certified B Corp, plastic-neutral, and on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good.
Grove Collaborative is hiring an Amazon-first marketplace operator to own and grow our owned brand business on Amazon — the core of this role — with additional ownership of TikTok Shop, QVC, and iHerb. This is a high-ownership, high-independence role for someone who runs Amazon like a P&L, makes strong tactical decisions, and consistently moves the business forward without waiting to be told how.
Just as important: this is an AI-native role. We’re looking for someone who has already built AI into how they work — automating tools and processes, compressing manual workflows, and using AI to stay ahead of Amazon’s constantly shifting playbook and translate it into operational priorities and decisions. AI fluency here isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s how you’ll scale your impact across channels.
You’ll partner closely with our VP of Merchandising, our Amazon agency, our QVC broker, and cross-functional teams across finance, inventory, and brand. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, lead complex workstreams, manage a small internal team, and work within a broader strategy set by the VP of Merchandising.
What You’ll Own
- Own Amazon end-to-end for our owned brand portfolio — assortment, pricing and promotions, content and merchandising, Subscribe & Save, and ad-adjacent levers — and drive consistent, profitable growth within defined guardrails.
- Build and run AI-powered workflows and automations across the channel — reporting, listing optimization, competitive monitoring, forecasting inputs, and routine operational tasks — to cut manual drag and accelerate decision-making.
- Use AI to stay continuously current on Amazon’s evolving playbook (policy, algorithm, program, and competitive shifts) and convert those changes into clear operational priorities and faster, better decisions.
- Manage the Amazon agency and QVC broker with clear expectations, a structured cadence, and direct accountability for results.
- Own execution plans across TikTok Shop, QVC, and iHerb, aligned to revenue, contribution profit, and margin guardrails.
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and brand teams to keep priorities, tradeoffs, and risks visible.
- Support channel forecasting and operational planning, surfacing issues early and adjusting before they become problems.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of direct, hands-on Amazon ownership is required, with hands-on Seller Central experience non-negotiable; broader ecommerce or marketplace experience on top of that is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience automating tools and processes with AI — you can point to specific workflows, automations, or systems you’ve built or meaningfully improved, not just tools you’ve tried.
- High AI fluency as a core part of how you work every day — researching, analyzing, drafting, and building smarter processes without waiting for a playbook.
- Proven experience managing external agencies with real accountability and structured follow-through.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort operating across multi-brand or multi-SKU portfolios.
- Collaborative, cross-functional operator who moves fast without losing alignment.
- Experience with TikTok Shop, QVC or live commerce, iHerb, or a CPG/consumer products background is a meaningful plus.
What Success Looks Like
- Amazon is delivering strong, consistent, profitable growth within defined performance guardrails.
- AI is actively embedded in how you and your team operate — with real automations live and measurable reductions in manual work.
- You’re consistently ahead of changes to the Amazon playbook, translating them into priorities before they become fire drills.
- Agency and broker relationships are structured, accountable, and operating with clarity.
- Cross-functional partners have clear, ongoing visibility into channel priorities and tradeoffs.
- Your channel operation runs with improved cadence, less reactivity, and measurable results.
What’s In It for You
- This full-time, exempt position is remote for candidates based in the following states: California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
- Competitive benefits - medical, vision, dental
- Equity - shared success is core to our mission
- Flexible Paid Time Off - we care most about results
- Free VIP membership and 50% employee discount
- Working for a company that believes that a small group of people can change the world for the better by creating products and funding initiatives that help the planet!
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $125,000-156,000.
