Associate Manager, Marketplace & Channel Operations

Remote

Grove Collaborative is a sustainability-focused consumer products company creating household and personal care essentials that are effective, beautifully designed, and healthier for people and the planet. We are a certified B Corp, plastic-neutral, and on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on marketplace and channels operator to support execution and performance tracking across our Owned Brands portfolio on Amazon, QVC, iHerb, and emerging retail channels, including TikTok Shop as it scales. Amazon will be a key focus, so this person needs hands-on Amazon experience and comfort working with Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon reporting tools. You’ll report to and partner closely with the Director of Marketplace & Retail Channels, our Amazon agency, QVC broker, and internal teams to understand what’s driving performance, flag issues, and keep execution moving.

This role is a great fit for someone who is building depth in marketplace operations—comfortable owning defined workflows, applying sound judgment within established processes, and growing their ability to connect data to action.

What You’ll Own

Performance Reporting & Insights

  • Maintain weekly reporting across Amazon, QVC, iHerb, and emerging retail channels (including TikTok Shop as needed)
  • Review Amazon agency reporting to understand performance drivers and flag trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate data into clear, actionable takeaways for the Director and broader team

Channel Operations & Launch Execution

  • Own item setup and catalog updates across marketplace and retail channels
    • Coordinate inputs such as content, images, pricing, claims, and SKU/UPC data
  • Maintain trackers for:
    • Launches
    • Promotions
    • Content updates
    • Compliance issues
    • PO status and follow-ups
  • Ensure execution is accurate, timely, and aligned with established processes

Agency & Broker Collaboration

  • Track agency and broker deliverables and follow up to ensure completion
  • Support competitive tracking across priority products (pricing, content, ratings, promotions, share of voice)
  • Partner with the Amazon agency to monitor and resolve account health issues, including:
    • Suppressed listings
    • Stranded inventory
    • Buy Box issues
    • Policy flags and open cases

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve or streamline reporting and operational workflows
  • Begin to apply AI and automation tools to reduce manual work and improve efficiency

How You’ll Show Up

At Grove, this role is about building strong operational ownership and analytical thinking—someone who can manage defined workstreams, solve moderately complex problems, and contribute to improving how we operate.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 2–4 years in marketplace, ecommerce, retail operations, catalog operations, or account support
  • Hands-on Amazon experience (Seller Central, Vendor Central, reporting tools)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel / Google Sheets)
  • Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear next steps
  • Strong project management and follow-through
  • Experience working with:
    • Marketplace platforms
    • Retailer portals
    • Agency partners
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Amazon 1P and 3P models
  • Familiarity with Amazon Brand Analytics, Advertising Console, or third-party tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.)
  • Experience working alongside an Amazon agency
  • Exposure to QVC, iHerb, Faire, TikTok Shop, or similar channels
  • Background in consumer products (wellness, beauty, home, etc.)
  • Familiarity with AI tools for reporting or operational workflows

What This Role Is (and Isn’t)

  • You will own execution and contribute insights, not set channel strategy
  • You will work within defined processes, while helping improve them over time
  • You are expected to develop judgment, not operate with full autonomy on ambiguous problems

How You’ll Work

You’ll operate in a lean, fast-moving environment where strong ownership and attention to detail matter. You’ll be expected to:

  • Stay close to the data
  • Keep trackers and execution organized
  • Ask good questions and flag issues early
  • Translate details into clear next steps
  • Know when to escalate vs. solve independently

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • Reporting is accurate, consistent, and translated into clear insights
  • Risks and opportunities are surfaced early across Amazon and other channels
  • Item setup and channel execution are completed accurately and on time
  • Agency and broker deliverables are clearly tracked and followed up on
  • Workflows are more organized, with clearer trackers and accountability
  • At least one reporting or operational workflow has been improved or streamlined

What’s In It for You

  • This full-time, exempt position is remote for candidates based in the following states: California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
  • Competitive benefits - medical, vision, dental
  • Equity - shared success is core to our mission
  • Flexible Paid Time Off - we care most about results
  • Free VIP membership and 25% employee discount
  • Working for a company that believes that a small group of people can change the world for the better by creating products and funding initiatives that help the planet!

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $65,000-83,000. Our compensation bands are determined based on market-specific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for the most experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
