
Associate, Private Client Solutions
SUMMARY
The Associate / Vice President, Private Client Solutions is an exciting opportunity to play a key role supporting the client engagement efforts for the growing Business Development team. This role offers high visibility, direct collaboration with senior sales professionals, and a clear path to a future client-facing sales position. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator, highly organized, and eager to deepen their knowledge of the alternative investment space.
As an onsite/hybrid employee, you are expected to be in the Chicago or New York office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; along with frequent in-market travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and advance client relationships — qualify interest, run early conversations, and drive real movement through the pipeline.
- Execute the full sales process end-to-end - prepare materials, coordinate diligence, pull in leadership, and organize educational events. Cross sell full suite of GCM products where applicable.
- Maintain world-class CRM hygiene — clean data, accurate stages, and a maintain a pipeline senior leadership can trust.
- Craft clear, concise client communications and support senior leads on follow-ups and complex inquiries.
- Tailor messaging and pitch materials to the advisor’s platform, sophistication, and opportunity set.
- Develop strong product fluency across our private equity, credit, secondaries, co-investments, and infrastructure strategies
- Partner closely with senior PCS leads, operations, marketing, and product teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.
- Take ownership of special projects that improve our process, client engagement, and overall team effectiveness.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree with a proven record of academic success.
- 5-7 years of professional experience working in a client supporting role within financial services industry
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, Series 7 and Series 63 FINRA licenses.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to build a long-term career in business development, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communicator: crisp writing, confident speaking, excellent judgment.
- High agency: proactive, resourceful, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's experience, skills, and qualifications for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on factors such as individual, team, and company performance as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

$90,000 - $115,000 USD
