About the role
As our Senior National Account Manager, Club, you'll drive our expansion and growth efforts in the club channel—with a primary focus on scaling major club retailers and building strategic partnerships. You'll develop and nurture strategic relationships with buyers and brokers, drive thoughtful growth plans, and ensure best-in-class execution across multiple stakeholders. This is a highly cross-functional role that will partner closely with our operations, brand, and marketing teams to bring Grüns to life at club and online. You'll be instrumental in navigating the unique requirements of club retail while driving significant revenue growth and market penetration. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a bi-annual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
- Build and manage strategic relationships with major club retailers, driving growth and expansion opportunities
- Pitch and sell to new club accounts, managing complex sales cycles and competing priorities
- Develop channel-specific marketing strategies, packaging solutions, and execution plans tailored to club retail needs
- Lead product launches and merchandising programs designed for club retail environments and consumer behavior
- Build compelling sales presentations and business proposals that resonate with club channel buyers and decision-makers
- Track and analyze sales performance, competitive trends, and market opportunities using retail data tools and club-specific metrics
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and brand teams to ensure seamless execution across club channel requirements
- Navigate complex club retail terms, promotional structures, and operational requirements to secure favorable business arrangements
- Drive strategic initiatives to expand club presence and achieve aggressive growth targets in this high-volume channel
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 7+ years of sales experience in club channel, with direct experience managing major club retailers
- Demonstrates proven track record opening new distribution points and negotiating complex contracts in club retail environments
- Possesses strong understanding of club channel economics, merchandising strategies, and operational requirements
- Has experience developing channel-specific packaging, product offerings, and marketing strategies for club retail
- Excels at presentation and negotiation skills with confidence to manage complex club retail partnerships
- Is proficient with retail data analysis tools (SPINS, Circana, Nielsen, IRI) and Microsoft Office suite including advanced PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred
- Brings passion for health and nutrition with deep product knowledge and industry expertise
- Is a natural storyteller who can craft compelling narratives for buyers and stakeholders

At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package—grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is between $140,000-$160,000 depending on experience.
