About the Role:

As a Salesforce Technical Project Manager at Gruve, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technically complex Salesforce projects for our diverse clientele. You will lead project teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and technical specifications. Execute projects according to plan, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Technical Team Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate project teams comprised of developers, architects, and other technical resources. Provide clear technical direction, assign tasks, monitor performance, and mentor team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Client Communication & Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, providing project updates, managing expectations, and addressing technical questions. Build strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholders, including internal technical teams, clients, and vendors. Communicate project status, technical challenges, and address any concerns.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient resource utilization. Forecast resource needs, including technical expertise, and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, particularly those with technical implications. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards, client requirements, and technical specifications. Implement quality control processes, conduct technical reviews, and oversee testing activities.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, technical specifications, meeting minutes, and risk logs.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate project processes and identify areas for improvement, particularly in technical execution. Implement best practices and contribute to the development of project management methodologies.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Contribute to pre-sales activities by providing project management and technical expertise, estimating project timelines and budgets, and assisting in the development of proposals. Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and translate them into realistic and technically sound project plans.

 

Basic Qualification

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering technically complex Salesforce projects.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its various clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), including technical aspects like Apex, LWC, and integrations.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

 

  • Preferred QualificationExcellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly in addressing technical challenges.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
  • Pre-sales experience, including proposal development and project scoping.

  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
