What You’ll Be Owning
GRVTY is seeking an Applications Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Springfield, VA. The Sponsor's office requires support for the modernization of existing enterprise SharePoint architecture and to deploy SharePoint Subscription Edition. The Sponsor also requires Systems Engineering support to further advance the Sponsor's enterprise capabilities leveraging experience with Windows, Linux, and PKI environments.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- The Contractor shall assess and validate SharePoint requirements.
- The Contractor shall assess and validate web requirements.
- The Contractor shall finesse SharePoint workflow architectures.
- The Contractor shall redesign the existing SharePoint application to add new features, optimize, scale or improve stability and performance.
- The Contractor shall provide O&M and content management support for Sponsor's SharePoint sites.
- The Contractor shall create new Sponsor SharePoint sites.
- The Contractor shall analyze and study complex system requirements.
- The Contractor shall apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects.
- The Contractor shall assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
- The Contractor shall collaborate with team members, customers, service providers and developers to identify requirements.
- The Contractor shall design, develop, and maintain various network environments, including the cloud environment.
- The Contractor shall develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
- The Contractor shall translate detailed design into computer software.
- The Contractor shall expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow – using containers, cloud development, enterprise PKI solutions, Linux, or Windows.
- The Contractor shall prepare required documentation, to include both program-level and user-level documentation.
- The Contractor shall review program problems including providing advanced troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and assess issues.
- The Contractor shall lead deployment of system engineering techniques, methodologies and processing to architect, design, test and secure environments adhering to DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), SRG and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) compliance.
- The Contractor shall conduct Research and Development for emerging technologies for evaluation.
What You Must Have
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- Demonstrated experience managing a SharePoint environment.
- Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA).
- Demonstrated experience working with users to identify, validate, and prioritize SharePoint site issues and requirements.
- Demonstrated experience assigning, editing and maintaining user roles and permissions.
- Demonstrated experience making SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues to comply with industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience making SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues, or to comply with requirements or IT best practices.
- Demonstrated experience creating and enhancing workflow architectures in SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience migrating, configuring, and developing SharePoint sites with improved functionality.
- Demonstrated experience improving performance, stability, and optimization of SharePoint sites.
- Certification(s); Security+ certification or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in engineering multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging automation tools and deploying scripts - Infrastructure as Code.
- Demonstrated experience providing detailed documentation and diagrams to support engineering efforts.
- Demonstrated experience providing architecture, design, test and secure environments adhering to DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), SRG (Security Reference Guides) and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) compliance in a disconnected environment.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps methodologies and tools.
What Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience supporting backend SharePoint Architecture
- Certification as a SharePoint Administrator
- Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Designer
- Demonstrated experience updating user documents and libraries.
- Demonstrated experience creating user manuals.
- Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) within the Sponsor’s organization.
- Demonstrated experience with containers.
- Demonstrated experience with Risk management framework or ICD503.
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
