The Challenge:
Ghost Story Games is seeking a talented Senior Technical Producer to join us on Judas, the highly anticipated game led by Ken Levine (System Shock 2, BioShock series). Unique in its bold, creative vision, Judas is also built upon novel technology by which the visual world, gameplay, and story unfolds in meaningful, dynamic ways. The result is a significant and personal journey adapted to each player’s experience and offers a new approach to the art and storytelling of video games.
The ideal candidate for this role has owned a major area of production for several PC and/or console titles in the shooter, RPG or strategy genres. They can construct useful schedules with minimal impact to developers and can drive these schedules while identifying issues before they become problems. The candidate must be empathetic with the player, pushing for a quality game experience and translating that drive into efficient and effective pipelines. Experience owning a major area of production or specific features is required for this role. The ability to communicate clearly and build lasting relationships within the team is a must. The senior producer we are looking for is intimately aware of various production methodologies, but also knows when to apply or stray from the beaten path if the situation requires it to get a better outcome.
What You’ll Take On:
Own and manage the production and pipeline for the AI Combat Teams, Localization Process, and Analytic Reporting Team across all phases of development.
Plan, schedule, and maintain day-to-day tasking for assigned teams, ensuring alignment across disciplines.
Facilitate communication between departments and provide consistent, transparent project updates.
Forecast and manage resources, scope, and design goals to keep projects on track and within vision.
Proactively identify productivity issues and dependency problems when encountered, and propose and implement solutions for resolution.
Understand and communicate issues facing various types of gameplay, artistic and technical considerations in order to identify and drive solutions within the team.
Comprehend any changes in scope, priority or direction, and holistically understand and articulate the knock-on effects throughout development.
Coordinate with the quality-assurance team to ensure agreed-upon workflow and management of bug databases, including establishment of priorities for resolution of bugs.
What You Bring:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Producer.
Shipped multiple AAA products.
Outstanding communications, project management and relationship-building skills.
Strong knowledge of the game market and gaming platforms.
Ability to create and maintain project schedules and milestone documentation, monitoring the progress of department milestones and individual tasks against those schedules.
Proven experience producing and managing cross-functional creative development teams and resources while meeting quality and schedule goals.
Familiarity with traditional production-management techniques.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and ability to multitask.Experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), Hansoft, Jira, Confluence and other project-tracking and bug-database software.
Great to Have:
Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Passion for narrative first-person shooters is a plus.
Capacity to make important decisions in highly stressful situations. Capacity to take leadership and maintain an efficient team in emergencies.
Problem-solving proficiency.

The pay range for this position in Massachusetts at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,100 and $145,200 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
