What you’ll do

We’re seeking an aspiring Sales Professional who is hungry, mechanically inclined, and thrives on going after new business. This role is for someone who has the hustle, ambition, and work ethic to build new customer relationships, uncover opportunities, and win work.

Importantly, this position does not require prior sales experience. We care more about your behaviors, characteristics, and ability than we do your specific experience. Our best salespeople have come from a wide range of backgrounds, but they all share common attributes: tenacity, persistence, resilience, and a mechanical inclination.

The right person is competitive, self-motivated, and excited to grow their territory by turning opportunities into results, and has the ambition to build a meaningful career both personally and financially.

The day-to-day

  • Win new customers and build a book of business by identifying, calling, visiting, and following up with prospective accounts (this is a boots on the ground job!)
  • Estimate, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish
  • Ensure quality and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in pricing and bid preparation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Manage project schedules, documentation, and permits
  • Track and produce change orders
  • Contribute to team goal setting and progress reviews

What you’ll need

  • Mechanical aptitude — comfortable learning products, systems, and installation basics
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with persistence, drive, and ability to work independently
  • Ability to read drawings/blueprints and understand basic measurements (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple opportunities
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn estimating/project software
