What we need: 

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Systems Specialist to deploy, manage, and administer Guardian Partner Services’ financial application suite. This includes ensuring successful adoption of systems by effectively training end users and providing efficient post-production support. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with our SAAS providers, establish best practices for our finance technology systems, manage data flows between finance systems and third-party platforms, and provide exceptional end-user support.  You will serve both as a functional expert with deploying and training users on financial applications and as a technical expert bridging the gap between finance and technology ensuring seamless financial operations and financial data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure financial systems are reliable, efficient, and meet the needs of Guardian Partner Services and its Partner Companies
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of the financial application suite (Sage Intacct, Ramp, and Stripe) at newly acquired partner companies in conjunction with managing the financial application suite in production.
  • Conduct training sessions for finance systems deployments, both in person and virtually.
  • Create and maintain user guides, SOPs and training content to facilitate scalable production support.
  • Maintain and optimize integrations between financial systems and core technologies like CRM, SCM, and Work Order Management/Field Services.
  • Monitor use and guide adoption and optimization of finance systems.
  • Ensure compliance with finance data protocols, including SOC-2 and PII regulations.
  • Partner with SaaS providers to manage installations, upgrades, testing, validation, planned outages, and ongoing software support across organizations.
  • Oversee the execution of financial technology integration projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure high availability and performance levels for financial applications and data.
  • Establish and maintain effective troubleshooting and problem-resolution practices.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date system and integration configuration documentation.
  • Design, develop, and support interactive dashboards to present actionable data insights.
  • Provide continuous technical support for financial system users.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies to improve connectivity and automation within financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in FinTech or, Accounting, Business or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing ERP applications and financial data integrations; experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g., AR, AP, GL) and financial data flows (e.g., payments, journal entries, tax records, reconciliations, purchase orders, financial reporting).
  • Proficiency with integration methods such as APIs, ETL tools, and middleware platforms (e.g., Azure Logic Apps).
  • Experience implementing finance systems and training end users, ensuring successful adoption.
  • Familiarity with corporate accounting practices, particularly transitioning acquired companies from cash accounting to GAAP.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate across end-users, vendors, and leadership.
  • Programming experience in API development (e.g., Python, Node.js, C#) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Ramp, ADP Workforce Now, JPMorgan Chase Access (via FISPAN), FloQast, and Stripe is advantageous.
  • Interest in leveraging AI for financial analysis is a bonus.

Compensation:

Guardian is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $65,000 - $78,000 + Bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

Location: This role is a hybrid role – requiring 2-3 days/week in the downtown Denver office.
