What we need:
We are looking for a dynamic Partnerships Associate to play a pivotal role in our acquisition sourcing and business development efforts. This position will have a strong emphasis on deal origination and pipeline management. The Partnerships Associate will receive hands-on mentorship and gain exposure to high-impact transactions. Reporting directly to Guardian’s VP of Partnerships, this role offers a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where top performers will quickly earn greater autonomy and significant career advancement opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify target firms within Guardian’s addressable markets to drive purchase opportunities.
- Proactively engage with business owners and industry stakeholders through phone, email, and in-person meetings to build relationships and generate deal flow.
- Manage and maintain Guardian’s database, ensuring accurate tracking of outreach efforts and ownership of key business relationships.
- Deliver a compelling narrative to business owners, clearly articulating why Guardian is the ideal partner for their business transition.
- Qualify potential acquisition opportunities, assessing alignment with Guardian’s criteria.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to strategically position Guardian as the preferred acquirer, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Represent Guardian at industry events and networking functions, strengthening brand presence and expanding the firm’s reach.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in a business development or sales-related role; preference for candidates with experience in the construction and/or home services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and qualify potential purchase opportunities.
- Demonstrated history of academic and/or professional success.
- Willingness to travel up to 25-40% to visit potential partner sites, attend industry events, and build relationships with business owners.

Compensation:
Guardian is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $90,000 - $110,000 + uncapped bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
Location: This role is a hybrid role – requiring 3 days/week in the downtown Denver office.
