Director of Strategy & New Market Launch

Denver, CO

Who We Are:

At Guardian Restoration Partners, we are on a mission to build the most impactful restoration business in the industry. Our network of Guardians helps property owners in crisis rebuild their lives after devastating events like water, fire, and mold damage. As part of our team, you’ll be contributing to a company that values results, integrity, and putting customers first.

The Guardian team is comprised of a small, passionate, and dedicated group of professionals based in Denver, CO who are excited to bring their expertise and knowledge to expanding the Guardian network and making a positive impact for all the partner organizations within its fold.

What we need:

We’re looking for a Director of Strategy and New Market Launch who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is driven by the opportunity to build from scratch. You’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing new market launches across the country. This is more than a strategic role — it’s hands-on, collaborative, and high-impact. If you're looking for a role where your entrepreneurial spirit and analytical prowess can create real, lasting change, we want to meet you.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to join a high-growth company at the forefront of the home services industry. You’ll be stepping into a dynamic environment where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution. As we expand into new markets, you'll have the opportunity to shape critical growth initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and drive real operational impact — all while being part of a collaborative, customer-first culture that values results and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Execution: Lead the end-to-end setup and execution of new market launches, ensuring all functional areas — including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and legal — are aligned and delivering against key milestones. Monitor and optimize performance post-launch to drive scalability and efficiency.
  • Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central project leader for new market development initiatives. Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across departments to ensure timely, effective, and strategic execution of market entries.
  • Interim Leadership Support: Serve as Interim General Manager for select Greenfields or Partner Companies when needed, providing operational leadership, performance stabilization, and alignment with broader strategic and financial objectives.
  • Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate market opportunities, forecast profitability, and guide decision-making. Provide data-driven insights to support ROI-focused strategies and sustainable growth.
  • Strategic Growth Collaboration: Partner with the broader Growth team and external stakeholders across Partner Companies (PCOs) to drive shared initiatives, uncover expansion opportunities, and scale best practices throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Playbook Development: Contribute to the creation and evolution of internal Playbooks — codifying processes, lessons learned, and market entry frameworks to promote consistency and excellence across all future launches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience managing P&L or overseeing large-scale budgets.
  • 3+ years of proven success leading cross-functional initiatives or teams.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and modeling, particularly within a growth-focused environment.
  • 2+ years in consulting or investment banking, with a track record of high-impact strategy and execution.

Skills that will make you successful in this role:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You’re a self-starter who’s comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the opportunity to build.
  • Strategic operator: You see the big picture but aren’t afraid to get in the weeds and drive execution.
  • Financial acumen: You’re comfortable with complex models, profitability metrics, and budget management.
  • Strong communicator: You can distill complex strategies into clear action plans and rally stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative leader: You know how to influence without authority and inspire cross-functional alignment.
  • Curious and adaptable: You learn fast, adjust quickly, and constantly seek out better ways to do things.
  • Mission-driven: You’re motivated by purpose and energized by working in a high-growth, service-first organization.

Our Core Values:

  1. Results Matter – We believe in delivering on our promises and driving outcomes that make a measurable difference.
  2. Do the Right Thing – Integrity is at the core of everything we do. We are committed to being ethical and trustworthy in every situation.

Total Rewards:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401K Plan with company match
  • Paid Time Off

We are focused on becoming an “employer of choice” and are continuously looking at how to expand our Total Rewards offerings to best suit the needs of our employees.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
