What We Need

We are looking for an experienced Director of Systems Implementations to join the Guardian Partners Services team. This individual will play a critical role requiring collaboration with Executive Leadership, People, Finance, Integration, and Partner Company team members to deploy systems needed to successfully integrate new acquisitions. Reporting to the Head of Systems, the Director Implementation Services will work closely during integration activities to ensure successful partner implementations and drive adoption using effective change management skills. The candidate will deliver a great business partnership experience with the acquired companies and Guardian Partner Services while driving system deployments. Continued support and further improvement with deployed businesses is a key part of this role. This leader will be customer-oriented, work with a high sense of urgency, and possess a focus on quality, value, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of multiple implementation projects simultaneously. Formalize implementation plans, timelines, and project milestones, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while continuously reviewing and enhancing plans as needed.
  • Drives standards through methodologies, playbooks, solution blueprints, and best practices to gain efficiency, to include Current State, Future State and Organizational Change Management assessments and planning.
  • Actively engages in projects and remediates any challenges with execution or satisfaction.
  • Plans appropriately using the One Page Plan approach to ensure MoM, QoQ, and YoY that the organization meets and/or exceeds their targets.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (M&A, Finance, People, General Managers) and external software suppliers to ensure a seamless transition from acquisition to implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key software providers to conduct regular meetings for issue management, proactive improvements to delivery and product roadmap development.
  • Communicates effectively across internal and external stakeholders to explain, motivate, and push implementation projects to completion.
  • Serves as the primary escalation point of contact for partner related implementation matters (scope creep, partner engagement, etc.)
  • Formalizes a capacity planning process that provides predictable resource planning for all projects that aligns our implementation process with our available resources.
  • Oversees and coordinates implementation team members to effectively support the delivery of solutions to the partner locations.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7-10 years implementing, leading and/or managing a team of delivery resources
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams both in-person and remotely to obtain and share all necessary data, information, and recommendations real-time.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to partner business locations as well as to headquarters in Denver, CO.
  • Prior experience with large scale service delivery management.
  • Prior experience with executive level stakeholder management.

Compensation:

Guardian is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $165,000 to $180,000 + Bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

Location: Denver, Colorado strongly preferred, but open to candidates in Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, and Connecticut.
