What we need:
We are seeking a commercially minded General Manager to lead and grow one of Guardian restoration Partners’ local restoration brands. This is not a role focused on maintaining the status quo. It is an opportunity to build a stronger, more scalable business by accelerating organic growth, expanding market share, strengthening operational performance, and developing a high-performing leadership team.
As General Manager, you will have full accountability for the company’s operating P&L and overall performance. You will set the growth strategy, establish clear commercial and operational priorities, and ensure leaders across sales, operations, production, and administration are aligned around revenue growth, margin improvement, customer experience, and execution.
The right leader will bring the discipline of an experienced operator and the commercial instincts of a business builder. You will be expected to understand the local market, develop and deepen referral channels, inspect the sales pipeline, coach leaders against measurable performance expectations, and personally engage in the market when needed to create momentum.
You will also lead the business through continued professionalization and scale. This requires balancing the entrepreneurial character and local relationships that made the company successful with the systems, accountability, and operating discipline required for its next stage of growth.
Supported by Guardian’s executive leadership, functional experts, and a network of experienced General Managers, you will have access to the resources of a growing national platform while maintaining meaningful ownership of the local business.
This role is best suited for a leader who wants direct accountability for building enterprise value and can translate market opportunity into measurable revenue, profitability, and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute annual growth strategies, operating plans, and budgets that achieve aggressive revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Create a culture of sales accountability by coaching leaders, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring consistent execution of growth initiatives.
- Increase brand visibility and position the organization as the preferred restoration provider within the local market.
- Identify strategic growth opportunities within the first 60 days and implement measurable initiatives within the first 90 days.
P&L and Performance Management
- Own the operating P&L, ensuring disciplined financial management while identifying opportunities to improve margins and accelerate growth.
- Own the overall performance of the business, including revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Analyze business performance and implement data-driven improvements that increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence and Customer Experience
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, improving service delivery, and ensuring a consistently exceptional customer experience.
- Establish performance standards and accountability across all functions to deliver high-quality results and operational consistency.

- Foster a high-performance culture built around Guardian's core values: Do the Right Thing, Customer First, and Results Matter.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience with full P&L responsibility in a service-based, restoration, construction, home services, or related industry.
- Proven success driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and improving profitability.
- Experience building, a repeatable sales and referral-development process.
- Strong financial and operational acumen including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and KPI-driven performance improvement. Demonstrated ability to assess a business, identify the highest-impact opportunities, and translate strategy into disciplined execution.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where growth and accountability are expected.
