Technical Art Intern

OUR PROCEDURAL ASSET ART TEAM

Our team focuses on procedural content creation using Houdini, working at the intersection of technical and artistic disciplines. We value collaboration, with each team member contributing their expertise while maintaining a high degree of independence. Our work environment is flexible, with a balance between individual projects and team collaboration. Daily routine and weekly direction meetings help ensure that everyone is aligned. We are looking for an intern to join our team and contribute to evolving digital art production processes.

WHO YOU ARE

In order to qualify for an internship at Guerrilla, you must be:

  • Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a relevant field of study
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Able to work on-site in our Amsterdam studio
  • Able to live and work in the Netherlands
  • Available for an Internship starting September 2025

Additionally, we'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Proficiency with Houdini geometry operations.
  • Basic Python scripting skills; the ability to learn and apply new programming skills is important.
  • Ability to follow and interpret artistic briefs effectively.
  • Understanding of material behaviors and how to apply them in asset creation.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality visual output.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Basic understanding of production pipelines and workflows.
  • Focus on optimizing assets for performance while maintaining visual quality.

Plusses:

  • Familiarity with real-time engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Perforce.
  • Experience with simulations, animation, and compositing.

Please note: This position is based in our studio in the heart of Amsterdam. You must be in commuting distance from the studio in order to qualify for the internship.
