Title: Systems Configuration Specialist
Reports to: Director, Business and Clinical Systems
Department/Location: Remote
FLSA Status: Exempt

Role Summary:
The Systems Configuration Specialist is responsible for translating business-defined requirements into accurate system builds during the pilot and implementation phases of new markets & initiatives. Once specifications are established by leadership or operational stakeholders, this role executes the configuration of forms, workflows, templates, and system structures within platforms such as the EMR, Assessment, and other Systems/Tools.
Role Responsibilities:
- Configuration
- Build forms, workflows, templates, and system structures based on specifications.
- Testing
- Conduct testing and validation of builds to ensure functionality and compliance before go-live. Partner with the Director to validate alignment between builds and business requirements.
- Training & Rollout
- Develop & maintain implementation materials, supporting end-user system education, and assisting with adoption during pilot and launch phases.
- Collaboration
- Partner with the Director to understand defined requirements and project goals. Provide feedback on system limitations, risks, or opportunities during build and testing. Communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly to the Director.
- Continuous Improvement
- Maintain documentation of recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, health IT, information systems, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in system configuration, EMR/EHR (Kipu), or workflow build (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities (implementation + project work).
- Knowledge and experience with health care information systems or knowledge of processes and workflows common in behavioral health, preferred.
- Computer proficiency, including MS365 (specifically excel) & Smartsheet, preferred.
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
