Senior Partner Manager

Guideline is looking for a Senior Partner Manager to join our Strategic Partnerships Team. 

This role will help expand and support our technology driven platform partnerships. You will be responsible for building and strengthening the relationships, identifying and executing mutually beneficial growth strategies, managing underlying business processes and improving feedback loops to generate efficiencies that take into account cross-functional objectives to help Guideline scale. A successful candidate will have experience managing external relationships and driving programs with cross-functional internal teams, be comfortable building compelling, data-backed business cases, operate in a fast-paced environment, and be able to put structure to nebulous, unstructured problems. 

The Team

Platform partnerships are critical to Guideline’s continued growth and success. The Strategic Partnerships Team is not only entrusted to maintain those relationships but to add incremental value to every pillar of our retirement ecosystem. You will join a high performing, high velocity team and be a critical component of scaling our department, reporting into the CFO and Head of Business Development. 

What You Will Work On

  • Representing Guideline as the primary point of contact for potential and current partners
  • Own primary communication and feedback channels between partners and internal stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, CustOps, and at times, executive leadership 
  • Establish, monitor and communicate key metrics and KPIs for joint success with partners
  • Lead ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with partners driving the agenda, ensuring all established goals, objectives and deliverables are executed by both parties 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring forward business cases that secure internal and external investment in growth opportunities and operational efficiencies with partners
  • Align roadmaps and workflows internally and externally to execute against these commitments to achieve business goals 
  • Work closely with RevOps, Data Analytics and Finance teams to derive insights from business trends, leveraging them to drive impact; help develop tools and processes to scale opportunities with partners
  • Uphold standards on culture, accountability, and impact with a keen ability to collaborate, communicate and unblock partner needs
  • Some travel to meet partners at their offices, at off-sites, and industry conferences and events

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proven track record of conceptualizing, architecting, orchestrating, negotiating, managing and leading innovative revenue based outcomes in an externally-facing partner management, business development, or equivalent role
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias to action 
  • High EQ collaborator who builds relationships across multiple organizations and operates with a service-based mindset 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and independently on a variety of business issues 
  • Strong data driven storyteller, comfortable using analysis to inform action 
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, organization and program management skills

Compensation

At Guideline, we believe compensation should be fair and equitable. We take a data-driven approach to set our compensation bands; the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

  • Metro+:
    The base salary range for this position is $187,500 - $219,000 annually.
  • Metro:
    The base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $204,000 annually.
  • National: 
    The base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $204,000 annually.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to receive equity in the form of Incentive Stock Options (ISOs).
