Lifecycle Marketing Manager
About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Lifecycle Marketing Manager who is eager to build and grow our Lifecycle Marketing team to nurture leads and enhance customer engagement and retention throughout their entire journey; at Guideline, we understand the power of effective lifecycle marketing and how it drives long-term customer relationships and business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience owning the end-to-end CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy to drive engagement, retention, and revenue.
Reporting to our Sr. Group Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, our Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own the strategy and execution of our lifecycle marketing initiatives, focusing on optimizing the customer journey from acquisition through retention. Since innovation is key at Guideline, we want you to help explore new marketing initiatives, lead process improvements, and continuously optimize customer journeys within our CRM ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and launch new lead nurture campaigns: Oversee end-to-end execution of email campaigns and partner cross-functionally to drive down-funnel conversions
- Optimize and test existing campaigns: Identify areas for further audience segmentation, message personalization and A/B testing opportunities
- Harness data-driven insights: Analyze the impact of initiatives on conversion and email performance metrics and share relevant insights in weekly and monthly reporting forums
- Strategize new ways to leverage platform capabilities: Explore APIs, machine-learning models, and behavioral data to drive more personalized experiences, increase convision and improve overall customer experience
- Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders: Including Product, Sales, RevOps, Analytics, Design, and Marketing
- Support customer advocacy and emerging cross-product adoption: Drive engagement by executing initiatives that increase customer satisfaction, accelerate product usage and frequency, and foster long-term loyalty throughout the customer lifecycle
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years in lifecycle marketing (or a related role) with a track record of delivering strategies that drive engagement and growth
- Proficiency in managing and scaling marketing platforms, including complex workflows and audience targeting
- Expertise in lifecycle channel best practices, including CANSPAM, deliverability and copy and design approaches with email, push, and SMS
- Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset
- Strong copywriting experience with the ability to adapt to different customer profiles
- High technical competence around data, including CRM (Salesforce), Amplitude, lead scoring, HTML and SQL
- Building lifecycle programs that align with lead scoring and routing systems
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholders
- A priority given to candidates with experience in fintech, HR tech, or payrole spaces
- A results-oriented approach to aligning content efforts with broader company goals and objectives.

Compensation:
At Guideline, we believe compensation should be fair and equitable. We take a data-driven approach to set our compensation bands; the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. We are always evaluating our pay zones to be as competitive as possible, so keep in mind these may be subject to change in the future.

- Metro+:
- The base salary range for this position is $138,500—$156,000 annually.
- Metro:
- The base salary range for this position is $130,000—$147,500 annually.
- National:
- The base salary range for this position is $124,500—$142,000 annually.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for equity in the form of Incentive Stock Options (ISOs).
