Business Development Associate

The Business Development team is looking for an entry-level Business Development Associate to further develop our business with major corporate institutions, F500 Corporations, Startups, etc. within the region. The Associate will be responsible for assisting in building a pipeline of prospects across a variety of industries. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who wants to learn more about our corporate client base and make a significant contribution to our business model.
This is a hybrid position out of our New York Office.
What You’ll Do:
- Daily monitoring of the Insights platform, especially breaking news, to identify topics for mass email blasts. Once a topic is identified and agreed upon with Insights Sales team, you will utilize Salesforce and Sales loft to build a contact list and email cadence to be sent out.
- Daily tracking of various Healthcare news outlets to identify current events to include in email outreach to clients.
- Daily tracking of new and recent Corporate Healthcare expert network projects to identify relevant Insights prospects
- Conduct regular follow-up on expert network project emails to set up sales meetings with Insights prospects
- Identify current expert network healthcare clients who are strong prospects for Insights based on functional role, focus area, current use cases for Guidepoint, and status of existing contract.
- Assist Corporate BDAs with pharma and biotech keywords to help their Insights prospecting process and Salesforce tracking
- Work with the Corporate Growth team to map out the organizational structure of key accounts and prospects for Insights
- Identify accounts, based on pipeline (TA’s/Indications), and segment and tag accounts
- Open Opportunities and Active Trial tracking:
- Regularly meet (2x per week) to review all open trial opportunities, analyze usage, and build saved search notifications as needed.
- Push content to clients via hyperlinked titles and agenda bullet points to get them to engage with the insights library as much as possible.
- Monitor upcoming important conferences and prospect attendee lists
What You Have:
- 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, finance, banking, consulting, or account management (recent graduates with relevant internships considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage high-profile clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to surpass targets in a metrics-driven environment.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Passion for learning about financial markets and primary research methods.
What We Offer:
The annual base salary for this position is $65,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for a yearly bonus of up to $10,000 based on performance.

Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
