As Lead Data Manager with Qsight, you will be a key member of the team responsible for building and maintaining the database, data pipeline, and operational cadence for our market research and analytics products. Further, as the expert of the dataset, you will play a strong role in continuous improvement of existing products and driving innovation with the focus on pleasing, supporting, and growing with our clients.

This role will be highly cross functional, working to drive clarity across R&D, engineering, product, and sales/marketing. You will help lead the team to leverage a range of proprietary healthcare data and build innovative solutions for the world’s leading healthcare companies—helping them to drive patient access to new and leading products and treatments. What You’ll Do:

  • Be a key leader on the Qsight team and help to spearhead the building of our next generation data products and solutions
  • Own and operate a full-cycle database platform to ensure data is of the highest quality and is maximized for end-user value, from data ingestion to data management to data delivery in the UI
  • Gather and prioritize technical and business requirements for the underlying database for new SaaS analytics products
  • Deeply understand the product value proposition and be able to translate it into technical requirements for the construction and management of the complex database
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and R&D teams to build out a well-documented data pipeline management system, SOPs, and processes
  • Collaborate with and lead data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to build a cohesive data ecosystem that incorporates best practices and ensures the highest standards in data management, governance, and quality
  • Establish and continuously monitor key performance indicators for data products, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for all significant issues related to the product line; ideally can also interact and engage directly with existing data clients and prospects to drive greater value for the commercial side of the business
  • Problem solve and overcome roadblocks and challenges as they arise
  • Build and manage a team as needed to support the initiative

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative data field or equivalent (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, etc.);
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant data product / database management experience with some at a managerial level
  • Technical experience building data-driven products and solutions (ETL development requirements, etc.)
  • Hands on experience in applying emerging AI capabilities to data solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise with languages / technologies for performing data modeling and building data pipelines
  • Expertise with data model and data pipeline development on modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
  • Advanced fluency with SQL and a deep understanding of data architecture patterns and practices
  • Expertise with data processing in Python or another high-level language
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration software systems
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset, along with a drive to build, solve problems, and innovate in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive to create, innovate, and collaborate with a world-class data team
  • Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders, product teams, and developers
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills combined with a proclivity for meticulous organization
  • Previous experience with entity resolution processes and methodologies a major plus

What We Offer:

The annual salary range for this position is $155,000-$190,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
