Senior Director of Quantitative Survey

OVERVIEW:     

Guidepoint’s Survey team is seeking a Senior Director of Quantitative Survey to lead and scale our global survey operations. The Senior Director will oversee a global team responsible for delivering custom quantitative survey solutions across all client industries and regions, ensuring high-quality execution and strategic alignment with business objectives. 

This leader will drive revenue growth through operational excellence, client engagement, and innovation in quantitative survey research. We’re looking for a commercially minded, operationally strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can bridge strategy, execution, and client success. 

This is a hybrid position based out of our New York City headquarters.   

What You'll Do:  

Oversee the Design and Execution of Quantitative Surveys 

  • Develop and implement scalable, efficient quantitative survey strategies aligned with business objectives. 
  • Oversee the design and execution of survey projects across a diverse global client base, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. 
  • Maintain, grow, and diversify Guidepoint’s survey panel to strengthen data quality, respondent reach, and engagement. 
  • Identify research objectives, target populations, and sampling methodologies. 
  • Manage survey design tools and data collection systems (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Sawtooth). 
  • Ensure data quality and operational rigor through consistent process improvement. 

Manage a Team of Quantitative Surveyors 

  • Lead and manage a global team of quantitative survey professionals. 
  • Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. 
  • Assign and delegate projects while monitoring team performance and productivity. 
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that values innovation and accountability. 

Drive Revenue, Client, and Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with Sales and Client Service teams to expand survey adoption across Corporate, Institutional, and Consulting clients. 
  • Engage with clients to identify opportunities for growth, renewals, and upsells. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to integrate surveys into broader business strategies and improve delivery. 
  • Prepare proposals, set project budgets, and maintain strong client communication to address technical, operational, and billing needs. 
  • Work closely with leadership to position the Survey business as a key driver of Guidepoint’s revenue growth. 
  • Engage with vendors and stakeholders to implement process improvements that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. 

Manage Survey Budgets and Resources 

  • Develop and manage survey budgets and resource allocation. 
  • Monitor and control expenditures to maintain operational efficiency. 
  • Secure and manage funding for research projects. 

What You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience in a leadership role within market research or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of quantitative research methodologies and their application in business strategy. 
  • Proven success managing and scaling survey teams globally. 
  • Experience with survey tools such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Sawtooth. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. 
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to align research and revenue goals. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills. 
  • Advanced degree in market research, business, or related field preferred. 

What We Have: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000-$250,000. Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
