Client Service, Project Manager

New York, New York, United States

Overview:

Guidepoint’s Client Service team connects leading investment firms, consultancies, and corporations with the subject-matter experts they need to make informed business and investment decisions. By understanding each client’s specific research needs and delivering targeted expert matches, often within hours, the team plays a critical role in providing a fast, high-quality client experience.

As an Associate Project Manager on the Client Service team, you will manage client projects, lead execution, and work directly with a team of Associates to deliver the right expert matches for each request. This is a dynamic role that may initially emphasize expert recruiting, project execution, or a combination of both. As responsibilities grow, the role is designed to expand into broader ownership of client relationships and project delivery. Due to the collaborative nature of the Client Service team, the work schedule is hybrid with three days in the office required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day client project execution and drive delivery across live project requests, ensuring a fast, high-quality client experience
  • Run several client requests at once, navigating shifting priorities, evolving project needs, and tight deadlines while maintaining strong execution
  • Provide feedback to and work directly with Associates, elevating performance through guidance on sourcing, outreach, vetting, and screening best practices
  • Build tailored sourcing strategies and execute targeted research, recruiting, and outreach to identify and qualify the right experts for each client request
  • Partner with Business Development and Relationship Management leaders to deepen client engagement, expand use of Guidepoint’s services, and build toward broader account ownership over time

Experience You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with strong academic track record
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship. Guidepoint does not provide employment-based visa sponsorship for this role

Successful Project Managers:

  • Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, experts, and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines with strong judgment, organization, and sense of urgency
  • Bring strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex client requests, communication across multiple stakeholders, and scheduling logistics with accuracy
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt quickly to evolving client needs
  • Write clearly and concisely, organize high volumes of information effectively, and deliver a high standard of client service in high-pressure situations
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

What We Offer:

The annual base salary for this position is $75,000. In addition, this role is eligible for monthly performance-based compensation tied to project execution along with a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of specific metrics. High-performing Associate Project Managers can earn $1,000 or more per month in additional compensation.

You will also be eligible for the following benefits:

  • 15 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and sick leave
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with flexible spending accounts, supplemental pet insurance, and short- and long-term disability
  • 401(k) with company match of up to 10% of employee contributions, plus company-sponsored and optional life insurance
  • Commuter benefits and corporate discounts, including gym memberships, ClassPass, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Unlimited access to self-paced learning through LinkedIn Learning
  • In-office perks including free snacks and beverages, Thursday Happy Hours, and Summer Fridays
  • Annual company-sponsored athletic leagues and wellness activities
  • Charitable giving programs with company-matched contributions to eligible tax-exempt organizations, in accordance with company guidelines, including a dedicated day of service for all employees
  • Casual work environment with regular team-building events and social activities

Career Trajectory:

This role is designed for experienced, client-focused professionals who can balance relationship management, team leadership, and strong execution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. It offers a clear path for progression, including the opportunity to advance to Team Lead after approximately 2-3 years.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
