Your Role

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Technology position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition professional to play a key role in scaling our Technology organization across Toronto, New York City, and Pune.

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will own recruiting across AI, Software Engineering, QA, IT, Data, and Product while helping establish our AI & Data Hub in Toronto. Partnering closely with senior technology leaders, you will shape hiring strategies for critical technical talent, provide market intelligence, and drive end-to-end recruitment for some of our most strategic teams.

Beyond hiring exceptional talent, you will help build the future of technology recruiting at Guidepoint by identifying opportunities to improve processes, evaluating and implementing recruiting technologies, and exploring how AI can enhance the recruitment lifecycle. You will have the autonomy to develop scalable recruiting programs, establish best practices for technical hiring, and influence the direction of our talent acquisition function as our technology organization grows.

This role is an individual contributor with broad ownership and visibility, with the potential opportunity to expand your impact through people leadership as the team evolves.

This is a hybrid position based out of our New York City office.

A Day in Your New Role:  

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical hiring across AI, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Data, Infrastructure, IT, and Product, from kickoff through offer acceptance
  • Partner with senior technology leaders as a trusted talent advisor, developing hiring strategies and delivering market insights to attract exceptional technical talent
  • Play a critical role in scaling our Toronto AI & Data Hub by building high-impact talent pipelines and helping shape the long-term hiring strategy for a rapidly growing organization
  • Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top passive talent using AI-powered recruiting tools, market intelligence, and other creative sourcing techniques
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to forecast hiring needs, prioritize searches, and drive a consistent, efficient, and inclusive hiring process across multiple regions
  • Leverage recruiting data and market trends to inform hiring decisions, optimize recruiting strategies, and continuously improve hiring outcomes
  • Champion operational excellence by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, leverage AI and automation, and improve recruiting processes at scale
  • Partner with the Global Talent Acquisition team to share best practices, standardize processes, and contribute to strategic talent initiatives across the organization

Qualities You Have

  • BA/BS degree
  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a high-growth corporate or startup environment with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of technical functions, including AI/ML Engineering, Software Engineering, QA, IT, and Product
  • Proven track record of identifying and converting passive technical talent using sourcing strategies, AI-assisted recruiting tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, GitHub, Boolean/X-Ray search, and other talent intelligence platforms
  • Ability to influence hiring managers, build trusted partnerships, and deliver exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and building strong relationships across diverse, international stakeholders
  • Passion for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to continuously improve recruiting strategies, operational efficiency, and hiring outcomes

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
