Overview:

The Insights product delivers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events to Guidepoint’s institutional and corporate clients. Teleconference transcripts are housed in a searchable portal covering diverse industries and topics, helping clients make informed decisions. All content features Advisors from Guidepoint’s global network and is curated by former investors, sell-side analysts, and industry professionals.

As the Project Manager on the Insights team, you will serve as both a hands-on recruiter and a coach for our team of Associates and Research Managers. You will lead by example—actively sourcing, engaging, and securing high-quality advisors while also training and mentoring the team to optimize their performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has strong recruiting and communication skills, and enjoys developing junior talent.

This is a hybrid position out of our New York office.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify and recruit senior industry experts with private equity exposure for our teleconferences.
  • Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone to secure expert participation.
  • Work closely with our moderators to understand subject matter and manage the team to source the best advisors.
  • Track and manage expert pipelines, ensuring consistent engagement and conversion.
  • Train and mentor a team of Associates, helping them develop strong recruiting and communication skills.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve results.
  • Implement best practices in expert recruitment, refining outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine team processes and optimize recruitment efficiency.
  • Set team goals, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-moving environment.

What You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience, including at least 1 year as a Project Manager.
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach (e.g., cold calling, cold emailing).
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring or managing junior team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage senior executives.
  • A data-driven approach to outreach, tracking efforts and optimizing conversion rates.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Interested in Private Equity and alternative investment strategies.

What We Offer:

The annual base salary for this position is $75,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
