Bring Your Home Services Experience to Tip Top

Do you know how to turn an urgent customer call into a booked appointment, keep service details organized, and help technicians arrive prepared? Tip Top Garage Doors is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Indian Trail team.

If you’ve supported customers in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, garage doors, solar, or another residential service industry, your experience will translate well here. We’re looking for someone who understands the pace of a service office, takes ownership of customer needs, and follows through.

You’ll help homeowners get the service they need while keeping communication clear between customers, technicians, and our office team.

What You’ll Do

  • Turn incoming calls into scheduled service appointments by listening carefully, asking the right questions, and explaining next steps.

  • Handle a high volume of calls with professionalism, accuracy, and a sense of urgency.

  • Gather and document customer information, service concerns, and appointment details so technicians arrive prepared.

  • Coordinate with technicians and office staff to support scheduling and communicate changes.

  • Keep customers informed about appointments, service updates, and follow-up needs.

  • Resolve routine concerns with empathy and sound judgment, bringing more complex issues to the appropriate team member.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and take ownership of follow-up so details don’t fall through the cracks.

  • Learn our garage door services and help customers understand their options.

What You Bring

  • At least one year of customer service experience in a residential service industry, such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, garage doors, or solar.

  • Experience booking service appointments and supporting a busy service office.

  • Strong phone skills and the ability to build trust with customers quickly.

  • The ability to manage calls, scheduling software, and customer records accurately.

  • A calm, practical approach to urgent requests, schedule changes, and frustrated customers.

  • Reliability, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.

  • ServiceTitan experience is strongly preferred; experience with similar service management software is also valuable.

  • Availability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with rotating weekends.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

What We Offer

  • Starting pay of $20–$24 per hour, based on relevant experience

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off and paid holidays

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Employee discounts and referral program

  • Paid training and ongoing support
