Program Manager

Gulf Wind Technology is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate engineering-driven projects that span cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and fabrication partners. We are looking for a program leader who thrives in technically complex, fast-moving environments and is excited to support innovation in the wind energy industry.
Job description
As a member of Gulf Wind Technology’s Engineering Team, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering programs that include composite fabrication, product development, and technical service campaigns. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, external partners, and fabrication subcontractors to drive program success from concept through delivery. At Gulf Wind Technology you will be responsible for:
- Leading cross-functional engineering projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scope development, scheduling, risk management, and budget tracking.
- Developing and maintaining program documentation, including project plans, resource trackers, meeting notes, risk registers, and performance reports.
- Coordinating technical input from engineering, manufacturing, and sub-contract teams to ensure project alignment and seamless integration
- Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining alignment on technical objectives, deliverables, and change management.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering or product development projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor deliverables, contracts, and scope.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms.
- A humble approach to your own knowledge and skillsets. We value team members who willingly share their expertise with the team, but also take ownership of their learning and development plans.
- An engaged and committed team member, who is equally excited to facilitate a meeting or discussion, partner one on one with cross-functional team members or work collaboratively to achieve the team goals.
Desired characteristics
- Previous relevant experience, preferably in the wind industry, but candidates with translatable experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge or experience with composite manufacturing methods, analysis, or design methods.
