We’re looking for an IT Support & Systems Administrator  to join our team and be the go-to expert for all things IT and mitigating cybersecurity risk. From setting up workstations to keeping our network safe, this role is essential to supporting our people and protecting our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support & End-User Experience

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support, delivering clear, friendly, and effective assistance to team members—both in-person and remote.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across a primarily Apple-based environment (macOS, iOS, iCloud, Apple ID management).
  • Translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand guidance for non-technical users, fostering confidence and independence with tools and systems.
  • Set up, configure, and decommission workstations, phones, peripherals, and user accounts.

Infrastructure & Office Technology

  • Maintain and support local office networking equipment, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, and other essential infrastructure.
  • Manage and support conference room A/V systems, projectors, displays, and video conferencing tools.
  • Ensure printers, scanners, and other shared office devices are functional and secure.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

Google Workspace Administration & Security

  • Administer Google Workspace, including user provisioning, group management, security settings, and access controls.
  • Monitor and respond to potential security risks, including phishing attempts, unauthorized access, or system anomalies.
  • Support implementation of security best practices such as two-factor authentication, encryption policies, and user training.

Physical Security & Access Management

  • Oversee badge access, surveillance systems, and related physical security technologies for the office.
  • Coordinate with vendors or facilities staff on security hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Travel & Multi-Location Support

  • Provide occasional on-site support at nearby office or job site locations as needed, ensuring consistent IT experience across all teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration, ideally in a multi-site or hybrid work environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Admin Console, Groups, security settings, device management, etc.); experience managing users, permissions, and organizational units is essential.
  • Proficiency with Apple hardware and software (macOS, iOS, Apple ID, MDM tools).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and support for office infrastructure (Wi-Fi, firewalls, printers, A/V systems).
  • Awareness of IT security best practices; certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Google IT Support are a plus.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and handling physical tech setups.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally to support nearby office or job site locations.
