As such, we’re expanding nationally and looking for a Construction Site Manager.

*This position is based in Stamford CT, but requires travel to job sites in various areas of the country as needed.*

We’re looking for a Travel Site Manager to join our team and take ownership of project execution in the field. From managing subcontractors to ensuring quality installations and a top-tier customer experience, this role is essential to delivering on our promises and representing Gunner at the highest standard.

What you will do:

 

  •  Manage projects for customer satisfaction, profitability, and future process improvements
  •  Provide consistent high-quality craftsmanship and communication to customers
  • Confirms that all company-branded work is OSHA-compliant and satisfies all other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Initiating pre-install meetings to review scope of work with homeowner to set job expectations and scheduling
  •  Provide leadership — advancing safety, teamwork, and discipline—resulting in efficient and professional contract completion
  •  Review and understand scope of work and project specifics ensuring positive customer experience and compliance with local building codes
  •  Schedule and secure materials, equipment and deliveries, paying special attention to using inventoried materials and special-order items to meet budget and minimize waste
  •  Coordinate, supervise and manage subcontractors
  •  Monitor quality of installations and conducting a post inspection
  •  Advise customers on possible changes to scope and provide change orders directly to the customer all without prior approval by a supervisor
  •  Other responsibilities as assigned by Management

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Travel Construction Management experience
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering 5 star customer service
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful problem-solving abilities and a desire to find creative solutions in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Must be familiar with Google tools and Docusign, and be adept at using a digital calendar
  • High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • A willingness to learn and be coachable – We’re looking for someone with growth potential as the department and company grows
  • OSHA certifications, a plus
