What part will you play?
- As Gunner’s first IT Support & Systems Administrator, you’ll be the go-to problem solver for all things IT. You’ll help set up, protect, and maintain the systems our people depend on every day, while also applying your skills to automate processes and strengthen cybersecurity. This is a unique opportunity to grow your IT career from the ground up, with exposure across support, networking, systems administration, and security. This role reports directly to the VP of Strategy, partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure our people and systems stay connected, secure, and efficient.
What will you do?
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, providing clear, friendly assistance to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Apple-based hardware/software (macOS, iOS).
- Provide IT support, integrations, and find solutions to automate platforms like HubSpot, Make.com, DialPad, Monday.com, NetSuite, Zapier, and Stripe.
- Set up, configure, and decommission laptops, phones, and user accounts.
- Explain technical issues in simple, user-friendly ways.
- Support office networking equipment, Wi-Fi, and conference room technology.
- Ensure printers, A/V, and shared devices are functional and secure.
- Help maintain systems with regular updates and patches.
- Assist with user setup, permissions, and group management in Google Workspace.
- Support security best practices like multi-factor authentication and phishing awareness.
- Help monitor for potential system anomalies or risks.
- Contribute to small projects that improve IT efficiency and security.
- Host daily IT office hours to provide real-time support to staff.
What do we require from you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred but not required.
- Internship, project work, or coursework in IT support, networking, or systems administration.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or Apple hardware/software (macOS, iOS).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Is action oriented and full of energy for the things they see as challenging.
- Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently and gets more done in less time than others.
- Quick to pick up new tools, processes, and technologies, and you’re not afraid to experiment, ask questions, and adapt.
- Takes feedback as fuel for growth and thrive in an environment where priorities can shift and new challenges arise.
- Interest in cybersecurity, IT best practices, and AI applications.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to consistency in support delivery.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and setting up hardware.
- Willing to travel occasionally to offices/job sites and assist in new market expansion.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000-$85,000
- Two-week onboarding program
