About the Team:
The Revenue Partnerships team is a highly visible and significant part of both our customer acquisition and engagement engines here at Gusto. We work with both inbound referral (“Channel Partners”) and outbound integration partners (“Product Partners”). The Strategic Planning & Operations team supports both Channel and Product Partner managers to optimize current performance and build for future expansion, as well as cross-functionally with teams like Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and Data.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Help define and drive strategic initiatives within the Go to Market organization, with the goal of significantly scaling our customer base as well as improving the partner experience
- Identify significant opportunities for process improvement, with focus on leveraging AI for streamlining, automation, and other components of customer experience
- Help define KPIs and build tooling to equip partner managers to optimize partner performance
- Analyze data to identify opportunities and gaps, including in data granularity and mapping
- Partner with Finance to build forecasting models that inform investment decisions, predict growth trends, and support quarterly business reviews
- Support cross-functional partners like Partner Marketing in developing and executing strong acquisition campaigns
- Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for all things operational in Revenue Partnerships
Here’s what we're looking for:
- ~7 years of experience in business development, sales or revenue operations, or strategy & operations in technology, management consulting, or investment banking
- Proficient in data analysis, including SQL
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the capability to define and drive initiatives that align with company objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into concise talking points and collaborate effectively across various teams and levels
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and operational excellence.
- Bachelors’ degree required, MBA or masters’ equivalent a bonus
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $148,000 - $175,000 in San Francisco and New York, and $122,000 - $144,000 in Denver and most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
