About the Role:
We're looking for a Knowledge Management professional to join our People Team! The person in this role will establish our approach to information governance, create streamlined processes, and drive usage of self-serve information across Gusto’s distributed workforce. The Knowledge Manager will be responsible for building scalable processes for our internal knowledge base and adjacent platforms that drive an innovative and inclusive Gustie experience.
About the Team:
Our People Relations and Operations team sits within the People Team and is comprised of HR Shared Services, Operations, HR Compliance, Global Mobility/Immigration, and Employee Relations. As part of our HR Shared Services pod, you will play a key role in bringing People strategies to life by ensuring employees have timely access to the information they need when they need it.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Design and maintain a user-friendly Confluence experience, ensuring employees can easily self-serve information
- Cross functional collaboration with key partners such as IT to create and update information in Confluence, creating outlines, developing taxonomy, and mocking up prototypes to illustrate the layout and flow
- Evaluate and maximize use of tool suites, including the roll out of AI assistant technology, to foster user accessibility and strong information architecture
- Establish and share best practices for internal knowledge management to streamline access to information and foster a consistent employee experience
Here’s what we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Knowledge base & Knowledge systems management, preferably in the HR space.
- Enthusiastic builder of virtual HR offerings - you leverage digital platforms and technology innovations to build responsive, useful, and scalable approaches to information governance
- Technical experience working in tool suites such as Atlassian & Confluence to build a knowledge management framework and approach
- Comfortable designing and applying tools such as automated workflows, cloud-based systems, and self-serve materials to make sure the right information reaches the right people
- Demonstrated expertise in relationship building - you have achieved impactful results through partnerships across multiple functions and successfully leading complex migrations and cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders across diverse teams.
- Strong logical thinker paired with excitement to imagine new ways of operating
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted between $94,000/yr and $111,000/yr in Denver. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above. Health & safety are our highest priorities here at Gusto, and a People Services and Experiences associate can expect to be in-office 2 days/week.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
