Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Build and refine our infrastructure and tools that enable other teams to work with data
  • Take full ownership of the solutions you build, partner with other teams, work with stakeholders to refine ideas, shape scope, implement solutions, monitor production, and troubleshoot problems that arise
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate with existing systems and unblock dependencies
  • Participate in an on call rotation to support the deployment of supported platform services and the management of the underlying infrastructure
  • Identify, adopt and improve frameworks, policies and tools to streamline the development process

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • Hands-on experience building data infrastructure at scale
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience building solutions in the cloud (GCP/AWS/Snowflake)
  • Experience with streaming systems (Kafka or similar)
  • Ability to turn vague requirements into clear deliverables with minimal guidance
  • Curiosity and ability to operate in an AI-native environment, leveraging AI tooling to enhance infrastructure operations

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $163,000-$204,000/year in Denver, $178,000-$223,000/year in Los Angeles, and $197,000-$247,000/year for San Francisco, New York, and Seattle. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
