Summary:

GW&K Investment Management is seeking an established and successful sales professional with strong relationships in the RIA space to join our team. The primary goal of the Director RIA Services will be to maximize the sales of investment products and seek new product placement through the Registered Investment Advisor channel, Bank Trust Departments and Family Offices. This individual will work with other team members and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships. This role can be based in either our Boston, MA or Winter Park, FL office, and is a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Head of Business Channel to create and implement sales strategy.
Prospect, develop, and grow RIA relationships through the execution of a well-designed business and management plan.
Identify and develop centers of influence, cultivate referrals, and build out GW&K's presence and brand in the marketplace.
Establish contacts at key firms through in-person engagement.
Provide in-depth strategy positioning updates and market outlook, including attribution.
Increase product penetration with existing relationships.
Attend relevant conferences.
Leverage internal resources (Marketing, Investment teams, etc.) to create and disseminate timely collateral and white papers.
Collaborate with Client Service Team to provide outstanding service to underlying clients.

Qualifications:

5+ years of RIA / Family Office experience in investment management sales or closely related financial services industry experience, with an in-depth understanding of the investment markets
Proven collaboration amongst sales and portfolio management teams
Ability to implement and execute consultative selling skills
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Effective time and territory management skills
MBA/CFA preferred
Extensive travel is required
