Client Service Associate - Institutional

Summary:
GW&K is seeking a Client Service Associate to join the Institutional Team, serving as a liaison between clients, consultants, and internal business partners, including operations, marketing, legal, compliance and performance. This is a hybrid position, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for institutional clients and consultants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all clients’ reporting and servicing needs are delivered in accordance with their requirements.
- Coordinate responses to clients’ and consultants’ requests for data, questionnaires, and other documentation.
- Manage account setups, terminations, and transitions, ensuring all documentation and processes comply with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and monitor account performance and cash flows.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance and Investment teams on guideline and contract amendments.
- Liaise with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Performance, Marketing, Portfolio Management) to ensure accurate and timely resolution to client and consultant inquiries.
- Responsible for upkeep of client’s permanent file.
- Maintain and enrich CRM system with client data.
- Prepare presentations, meeting notes and manage follow up for client and consultant meetings.
- Support and encourage a team-oriented model with effective communication, transparency and trust.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance or economics.
- Work towards CFA/and or MBA.
- 3-5 years of financial services experience focused on client service or a related position.
- Must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational skills and work well under pressured time constraints while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be able to work well with all levels of management in a professional manner, possess strong interpersonal skills, work independently and prioritize while handling several tasks at once.
- Must demonstrate an ability and eagerness to learn about the financial industry as well as the particular philosophies and investment strategies of GW&K. Must be resourceful, creative, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Word and Excel.
