THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a IT Infrastructure Manager for the DOTS team in Sao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)!

As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for driving the execution of Wellhub IT  Infrastructure: End-user services that might span several teams in a high-quality and effective manner. This role takes a holistic perspective about how all the moving parts should tie together and systemizes it into a functioning program.


You will collaborate with the Security Team, Infrastructure Analysts and Tech Leads, and the engineering team to ensure that necessary deliverables are worked into their plans. You will have an end-to-end oversight of the projects while keeping all players coordinated on progress and deadlines, anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management when needed, and balancing business needs versus technical constraints.


An ability to take medium initiatives and break them down into manageable pieces, develop technical specifications, and empower the team to deliver them successfully and in a timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.


This is a flexible hybrid position for people located in the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Foster a high-performing help desk and service desk team dedicated to delivering exceptional end-user experiences;
  • Deliver infrastructure initiatives for the IT Infrastructure: End user services  using the appropriate project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently;
  • Lead the collaborative cross-team decision – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team;
  • Lead initiative of infrastructure connecting the architecture and organizing interdependencies across other focus areas;
  • Facilitate decision-making around infrastructure changes. Make sure the consequences are understood and changes are visible;
  • Apply experience, practical knowledge, and judgment to drive the technical evaluation process, which may include points of contact across multi-level internal and external stakeholders;
  • Track, in collaboration with the Security team, problems on the initiatives troubleshooting incidents assessing both impact and risk;
  • Collaborate the prioritization process for the IT Backoffice domain considering strategy, facilitating value engineering, and developing a backlog for the short, mid, and long term;
  • Monitor and give visibility to OKRs, KPIs, initiative status, agile metrics identifying bottlenecks and engaging the teams on opportunities for improvements;
  • Previous technical expertise on projects and processes;

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience in managing a team of End-user support and IT operations;
  • Experience in conducting projects and defining targets and deliveries. Participating in regular meetings for alignment, team development, and the feedback process;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience;
  • Solid experience in computer/software technology, mainly in infrastructure;
  • Experience with troubleshooting infrastructure technical issues, including capturing and analyzing logs;
  • Experience with infrastructure project management and stakeholder management within multicultural environments;
  • Advanced ability to speak English;
  • Experience with Multi-cloud environment, Google Workspace, access management tools (Active Directory and Entra ID), cloud management projects;
  • Process automation experience;
  • It will be considered a plus if you have:
    • IT infrastructure certifications;
    • ITIL, Agile, and PMI usage experience;
    • Security best practices.
