THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Business Development Representative to join our SMB Client Sales team in Paris!
Wellhub is officially expanding into France, and you will join a high-impact team at the forefront of this new venture! As one of the first SMB BDRs in the country, you will play a key role in building our presence from the ground up—generating pipeline, engaging HR leaders, and contributing to both the development of our local sales playbook and our go-to-market approach.
This is a rare opportunity to take on real ownership from day one, introduce a global brand to a new market, and help shape our long-term success in France.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of two days per week in our Paris office.
YOUR IMPACT
- Identify and map a high-volume pipeline of French SMB prospects (up to 500 employees), engaging CEOs and HR leads to build a brand-new market from scratch.
- Establish a consistent and high-volume stream of qualified meetings for the SMB Account Executives.
- Lead outbound activity across cold calling, emailing, and social selling (LinkedIn) to generate and qualify new opportunities in a brand-new market.
- Qualify and convert inbound inquiries from the Wellhub website, acting as the first point of contact and driving high-velocity growth for our Account Executives.
- Work together with the Sales Team to test innovative and creative prospecting methods to increase brand visibility within the French SME ecosystem.
- Drive the strategic positioning of Wellhub in France, clearly communicating our value proposition and mission to French SMEs discovering us for the first time.
- Act as a key source of market feedback, sharing insights, objections, and local nuances to directly shape the SMB strategy.

WHO YOU ARE
- You have 1+ year of experience in business development, high-velocity sales, or client-facing roles. Experience in a startup or in a "new market" environment is a big plus.
- You communicate confidently in French (native level) and fluently in English.
- You are motivated by targets and bring energy to outbound activity.
- You’re proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- You thrive on building processes from scratch and take ownership of your work.
- You are familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce (a plus).
- You enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment.
