THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a People Operations Specialist for our People team in US.

The People Operations team plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with regional labor laws, and strategically enhancing the overall employee experience. In this role, you will execute all operational aspects of the employee lifecycle-from onboarding and leave processes to payroll and benefits-while serving as an advisor for operational improvements. Working closely with cross-functional teams like Finance, IT, and Talent Acquisition, you will help optimize workflows and ensure high-standard HR support aligned with our organizational goals.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Manage and execute end-to-end People Operations processes throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring all materials, systems, and documentation are updated, secure, and compliant with internal standards and regional legal requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Wellhubbers, local administrators, and external providers for benefits and EHS, optimizing workflows, aligning timelines, and ensuring smooth, accurate administration.
  • Coordinate with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely sharing of monthly payroll data, proactively resolving discrepancies, and managing the invoicing process for People Ops services from receipt to payment schedule alignment.
  • Oversee operational platforms and request management, monitoring JIRA to maintain rapid response times and maintaining data integrity across tools such as Workday, JIRA, and other core systems through timely approvals and document storage.
  • Partner with the Global Mobility team to negotiate timelines and key deliverables, ensuring cross-team alignment, compliance, and smooth coordination for international movements.
  • Monitor and analyze labor laws within the region to proactively update policies, align internal processes with regulatory shifts, and advise leadership on strategic adjustments for full legal compliance.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives by proposing innovative solutions, automating manual tasks, refining workflows, and collaborating across departments to boost operational efficiency.
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A People Operations professional with hands-on experience managing core HR operational processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and direct employee support.
  • A compliance-minded expert with solid knowledge of regional labor laws and HR compliance requirements across the US.
  • A process-oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience managing HR platforms and ticket-tracking systems like Workday and JIRA, maintaining high standards of data integrity and confidentiality.
  • A collaborative communicator capable of managing vendor relationships and partnering effectively across cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT, Facilities, and Talent Acquisition.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional holding a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Legal, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • A multilingual communicator who is fluent in English alongside the local primary language, enabling seamless collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.

We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently. We strongly encourage all aspiring applicants to go for it, even if they don't match the job description 100%. We welcome your application and will be delighted to explore if you could be a great fit for our team. For this specific role, please note that prior experience in People Operations lifecycle management (including payroll and benefits support) and regional HR/labor law compliance are mandatory requirements.
