THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a People Operations Manager to join our People & Culture team in São Paulo, Brazil!

Our People Operations team delivers high-quality operational support, ensures strict legal compliance, and elevates the employee lifecycle. In this role, you will lead end-to-end PeopleOps processes, manage key third-party vendor relationships, navigate Brazilian labor relations, and mentor a talented team. By optimizing systems, driving process improvements, and utilizing data-driven insights, you will directly influence operational efficiency and the overall employee experience across Brazil.

As a strategic operational leader, you will act as the primary point of contact for PeopleOps matters while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.

 

 YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead, Coach, and Empower the Team: Directly manage and mentor our local People Ops team in Brazil—prioritizing daily workflows, fostering continuous professional development, and cultivating high cross-functional expertise across all core operational functions.
  • Drive Operational Excellence & Escalation Resolution: Act as the principal decision-maker and expert escalation point for complex PeopleOps challenges, resolving sensitive inquiries with a decisive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Champion Labor Compliance & Governance: Leverage deep expertise in Brazilian labor legislation to align company policies with regulatory requirements, ensuring rigorous compliance, flawless data accuracy, and robust audit readiness.
  • Optimize HR Systems & Workflows: Oversee key HR technology and operational platforms (including payroll and time tracking), continuously refining processes and automating workflows to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Align External Partners & Key Stakeholders: Build strong, strategic partnerships with external BPO vendors, payroll partners, and internal business leaders to guarantee seamless service delivery and execution.
  • Leverage Data for Strategic Impact: Utilize operational metrics and analytics to track team performance and elevate operational quality.
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • An experienced People Operations leader with demonstrated expertise in managing core HR operations, payroll review, benefits administration, and end-to-end lifecycle management.
  • A Dedicated People Manager: Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing team members, with strong skills in workload prioritization and team capability building.
  • A Labor Legislation Expert: Strong, practical knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and compliance standards, with the ability to pragmatically apply legal requirements within a modern culture.
  • A Resilient & Solutions-Oriented Problem Solver: Decisive with strong filtering and escalation management skills, able to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Systems Literate: Hands-on experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP), time management systems (e.g., Ahgora)and Workday are a strong plus. Curiosity and interest about AI tools and automation is highly important.
  • A Strong Stakeholder Communicator: Fluent in English (mandatory) and great communication skills to collaborate with cross-regional teams and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
