Marketing Ambassador

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Ambassador to manage all inbound website leads, execute on outbound event promotion activities and post-event lead follow-ups, handle web chat interactions, and assist with social media engagement and interacting with communities like Reddit. This role is crucial in nurturing potential clients, enhancing their experience with the Halcyon brand, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a budding understanding of cybersecurity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Responsibilities:  

Lead Management

  •   Track, qualify, and route all inbound leads through our CRM system. 
  •   Assess lead quality and ensure timely follow-up with potential clients. 
  •   Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize and strategize lead engagement. 

Event Lead Management

  •  Coordinate with the events team to capture and manage leads from webinars, conferences, and other events. 
  •  Help drive attendance to Halcyon events, and events where we are sponsoring/attending  
  •  Ensure leads are entered into the CRM system with accurate details and follow-up actions. 
  •  Provide feedback and insights on event lead generation to improve future events. 

Web Chat Management

  •  Monitor and manage live web chat interactions, providing immediate assistance and information to website visitors. Work to qualify these visitors and identify potential opportunities. 
  •  Qualify and direct web chat inquiries to the appropriate departments or sales representatives. 
  •  Maintain chat logs and analyze interactions to enhance user experience and identify opportunities for improvement. 

Social Media Assistance

  •  Assist with interacting and selling on social media channels to people who engage with our brand. Note that this role is not a social media manager type role, the responsibility is to experiment with interacting within our own content to drive demand or interest.  

Customer Interaction

  •  Address inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive and informative experience. 

Reporting and Analysis

  • Work with Sales Ops and Marketing Ops to generate regular reports on lead metrics, web chat performance, and event lead conversion rates. Work with CMO and Growth Marketing head to identifiy new engagement strategies. 
  • Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and make data-driven recommendations. 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer support teams to align lead management strategies and ensure seamless communication. 
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to optimize lead generation and conversion. 

 

 Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or similar experience. 
  • 2+ years of experience in lead management, sales support, or customer service, preferably within B2B SaaS (cybersecurity is a bonus). 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and web chat tools is desired but not required. 
  • A desire to expand your knowledge in the cyber security industry, marketing, and sales. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proactive, with a positive attitude and a focus on providing outstanding customer service.

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
