The Role:

The Talent Acquisition Partner, Technical will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, focusing on attracting, sourcing, and hiring highly qualified candidates for key roles within the organization. You will partner closely with hiring managers and department leads to understand hiring needs, strategize on the best approaches to attract talent, and provide a seamless candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting within the cybersecurity or technology space and a passion for supporting teams working on cutting-edge solutions in the ever-evolving world of ransomware protection.

 

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment process for a range of technical and non-technical roles, from creating job postings to screening candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
  • Sourcing Talent: Proactively identify and engage potential candidates via various channels (job boards, social media, industry networks, etc.) with a focus on building a pipeline of top talent for the company’s immediate and future needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand team goals, technical requirements, and job specifications. Provide guidance on market trends, salary benchmarks, and best recruitment practices.
  • Employer Branding: Help build and maintain a strong employer brand by sharing the company's mission, values, and commitment to cybersecurity, ensuring we attract candidates that align with our goals.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining transparency throughout the hiring process and ensuring each candidate has a positive interaction with the company.
  • Data-Driven Recruiting: Use recruiting metrics and analytics to track hiring progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling job advertisements and outreach strategies that appeal to top talent in the cybersecurity and technology fields.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process. Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, candidate pipeline status, and time-to-fill.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in a Talent Acquisition or Recruiting role, ideally within cybersecurity, technology, or a related industry. Experience recruiting for technical positions is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry, specifically ransomware protection and related technologies. Familiarity with the challenges and demands of the sector is a plus.

  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
  • Ability to conduct both technical and behavioral interviews effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and optimize strategies.
  • Experience in using sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and specialized cybersecurity networks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
