What we do:
Halcyon is the industry’s first dedicated, adaptive security platform that combines multiple proprietary advanced prevention engines along with AI models focused specifically on stopping ransomware.

Who we are:
Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans after battling the scourge of ransomware (and advanced threats) for years at some of the largest global security vendors. Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

As a remote-native, completely distributed global team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we'll work a plan to meet your needs.

We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join the Halcyon brand team. This is a foundational role—helping to shape our in-house brand and creative language as we scale globally.

You’ll bring strong visual design expertise, a love for storytelling and pop culture, and the ability to translate strategy into engaging brand experiences. At Halcyon, you’ll evolve our visual identity and bring it to life across campaigns, product marketing, events, digital channels, and internal initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to define how the Halcyon brand shows up in the world—and to grow with the team as we expand globally.

What you'll do:

Brand Development

  • Evolve and maintain Halcyon’s visual identity system (color, typography, iconography, imagery).

  • Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints: digital, print, product, events, and internal communications.

Creative Execution

  • Design high-quality assets including landing pages, presentations, eBooks, infographics, email components, digital and OOH ads, and event collateral.

  • Develop campaign key art and production-ready assets for paid social, web/digital, and corporate collateral.

  • Collaborate with demand gen, product marketing, and content strategy teams to translate campaign goals into compelling visuals.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Participate in creative concepting for launches, campaigns, and brand moments.

  • Present and defend ideas, integrating feedback with thoughtfulness and care.

  • Collaborate with internal and external designers to expand our visual identity, guides, and tools across the company.

Governance & Templates

  • Maintain and evolve a scalable design system and asset library.

  • Create templates and self-serve brand tools (e.g., social templates, decks, document templates) to empower teams.

  • Support leadership with brand compliance and advocate for high standards.

What you'll bring:

  • 5–10 years of brand and design experience.

  • Portfolio showcasing brand identity, marketing assets, and digital-first design.

  • Mastery of design fundamentals: composition, typography, color, animation, motion, and storytelling.

  • Expertise with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Acrobat, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack).

  • Strong understanding of digital and print design: web, email, social, advertising, presentations, video, events, merch & swag.

  • Strategic thinker who connects design decisions to business goals and outcomes.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

  • Equal passion for big-picture vision and pixel-level detail.

  • Curiosity, creativity, and a love of cultural trends and storytelling.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • Scalable templates and tools enabling teams to stay on-brand.

  • Campaign assets that elevate Halcyon’s story across channels.

  • A growing culture of design excellence and brand pride.

Why Join Us

At Halcyon, our brand and design are central to how we tell our story. As our first dedicated Brand Designer, you’ll help build the foundation of a creative team that will grow in both influence and scale. Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
