The Role
Halcyon is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead our commercial sales efforts in the UK. The role will focus on driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and executing sales strategies to support our mission of combating ransomware.
Responsibilities

Sales Leadership: Lead and manage commercial sales efforts in the UK, ensuring execution of company strategy. Build a high-performance culture, setting clear targets, providing coaching, and holding team members accountable for delivering results.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute UK-specific sales plans, identifying market trends, client needs, and opportunities for competitive advantage.

Revenue Growth: Deliver against ambitious sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts, while ensuring long-term client retention.

Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with CISOs, CTOs, and other senior stakeholders within enterprise and mid-market accounts. Understand their resilience and ransomware protection needs, presenting tailored solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure alignment and a seamless customer experience. Provide feedback to inform product roadmap and messaging.

Sales Enablement: Ensure sales talent is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed. Recruit, develop, and mentor new sales hires.

Pipeline Management: Provide accurate forecasts, track KPIs, and optimise sales processes using CRM and sales analytics tools.

Closing & Negotiation: Lead complex deal negotiations, supporting engagements with high-value clients.
Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial sales leadership with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, ideally within cybersecurity, SaaS, or broader technology sectors.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity (endpoint, ransomware protection, data security, resilience) preferred.

Experience selling into UK mid-market and enterprise organisations, engaging directly with CISOs and IT security decision-makers.

Demonstrated success in building and executing sales strategies.

Strong leadership and coaching ability, with a focus on mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: £90,000 – £110,000 + OTE (depending on experience).
In addition to base and commission, this role includes participation in Halcyon’s equity programme.

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
