The Role

Halcyon’s goal is to deliver an anti-ransomware solution that breaks new ground in what a security product can prevent, detect, and recover. Halcyon has grown rapidly and is now scaling the product and organization to meet increasing customer demand.

As we expand, we’re investing in more durable, repeatable execution across Product and Engineering. Halcyon is hiring a Senior//Principal Program Manager to lead program management for Product + Engineering and establish the operating practices, planning systems, and cross-functional rhythm needed to execute a multi-quarter roadmap with clarity and predictability.

This role reports to the SVP, Product Management and partners closely with Product and Engineering leadership, including the CTO and CPO. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional execution of the Product + Engineering roadmap, driving plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk management.
  • Partner with Product leadership to translate strategy into an integrated multi-quarter roadmap with clear priorities and outcomes.
  • Establish and run scalable operating cadences (planning cycles, execution reviews, milestone readouts, retrospectives).
  • Provide concise executive visibility on progress, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions required.
  • Coordinate launch readiness across Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure smooth internal delivery and successful customer adoption.
  • Define and evolve the program management playbook for Product + Engineering; mentor others as the function grows.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of program management experience, including significant ownership within Product + Engineering organizations.
  • Proven ability to drive complex, multi-team programs with meaningful technical and organizational dependencies.
  • Track record establishing operating rhythms and planning frameworks that improve predictability and execution clarity.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort driving alignment across senior leaders with competing priorities.
  • Excellent structured thinking, planning, and problem-solving capability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting and narrative building.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity, endpoint protection, SaaS platforms, or reliability-critical technical domains.
  • Familiarity with agile/lean product development at scale.
  • Experience partnering with GTM teams on launch planning and readiness.
  • Prior experience hiring, mentoring, or leading program managers.
  • Technical background that enables credible partnership on engineering tradeoffs.

Base Salary Range: $160,000-$220,000 based on experience, skills, and expertise.

Bonus Target: 10%

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
