Role Description:

ISQ’s Infrastructure Private Equity Group offers its professionals the chance to work in all aspects of infrastructure investing. Summer Analysts can expect to work on several transactions at one time, and are involved with the development, structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend both external and internal meetings, negotiations, due diligence sessions, and take an active role in working with portfolio companies and overseeing existing investments. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to rotate across ISQ’s investment and portfolio management teams, including Asset Management, Credit and InfraTech (early-stage technology infrastructure venture investing). High performing Summer Analysts may be offered a full-time role based on hiring needs. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and execute infrastructure private equity investments

• Perform in-depth market research

• Perform financial modelling and valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities across various infrastructure verticals, including energy (e.g., renewables and utilities), transportation & logistics (e.g., ports, airports, toll roads, and railroads), digital infrastructure (e.g., data centers, cell towers, and fiber), environmental (e.g., water/waste) and social infrastructure

• Perform extensive due diligence on each transaction, including travelling to prospective target companies, meeting with management, coordinating with various advisors, and formulating the investment strategies and business plans.

• Prepare written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for the Investment Committee of I Squared Capital

• Participate in execution of transactions and both internal and external client meetings.

• Assist Dedicated Asset Teams in managing current investments, including analyzing potential add-on investments, refinancing opportunities, and exit opportunities.
