Position Identification

Job Function: Event Support 

Report to:  Brand Communications Manager

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for assisting the execution of the event's calendar via support in-office, and occasionally, on-site at events. Works in assisting to promote Hankook tire’s products both B2B and B2C

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Events Specialist and Brand Communications manager for any / all tasks related to the Hankook events calendar (logistics coordination, staffing, documentation, reporting, materials management, etc.)
  • Manage and audit sales team event support requests and manage the processes surrounding said support.
  • Monitor competitor activity and new business opportunities, ensuring effective agency performance and ROI.
  • Prepare reporting and ROI analysis for decisionmakers and management, aligned with pre-set goals.
  • Work with Jr. Brand Comms associate to formulate a holistic overview of individual events including media coverage and social strategies to assess overall effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in consumer, customer and media interactions at on-site events
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tastemakers, and relevant themes to better identify areas of opportunities for Hankook brand positioning.
  • Occasionally travel to oversee on-site events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders (agency, local, and global) effectively.

Willing to develop an understanding for and strive for adherence to best practices in market and industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with event planning
  • Proven experience managing agency relations and monitoring ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.
  • Ability to adapt to a structured, traditional work environment.
  • Highly desired: Intercultural experiences, such as study abroad programs, Cultural exchange programs or volunteering abroad
  • Highly desired: Automotive or tire industry interest or prior experience
