II. Job Purpose

As Hankook Tire Brand continues to grow, it is an exciting time to join our Midwest Sales Team as an Assistant Territory Manager.  The Assistant Territory Manager supports the Sales Team in driving growth in the Midwest.  This position offers growth opportunities to Territory Manager.

III. Key Accountabilities

  • Calling on targeted retail locations
  • Work closely with the Corporate Product Training team to serve as a “Regional Trainer” for the sales team
  • Assist current staff with tradeshows and dealer events
  • Learn Hankook’s processes, procedures, and reports in preparation for future growth opportunities to Territory Manager
  • Detect new Hankook One opportunities and sign them
  • Work with the Sales Innovation Team regarding market conditions and competitor actions
  • Additional tasks as defined by the Regional Director
  • Ideally this position is located in the Chicago/Milwaukee metro area, Minneapolis, Detroit, or Cleveland

  • Responsible for supporting sales in the Midwest Region
  • Individual contributor and must be self-motivated

VI. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or similar customer facing role
  • Must reside in the assigned territory
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time
