About the Role
This role is not just about managing processes — it’s about leading with vision, executing with precision, and connecting strategy with impact. As the Brand & Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for driving the long-, mid-, and short-term brand and marketing strategies in alignment with our Global HQ based in South Korea. You’ll be the key driver behind building a brand that resonates with local consumers and creates measurable business value.
You will oversee signage sponsorships, event planning and execution, PR and communications, and agency management across social media and content. This role demands strong leadership, deep collaboration, and the ability to act as a bridge between the local market and Global HQ — ensuring alignment while adapting strategy to local needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement long-, mid-, and short-term brand strategies aligned with both local market insights and global direction.
- Translate business objectives into actionable and measurable marketing plans.
- Serve as the internal and external brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and clarity in all brand communications.
- Budget Planning & Execution
- Lead the development and management of annual marketing budgets.
- Oversee rolling and ACT plans, ensuring all forecasts and reporting are timely and accurate.
- Ensure marketing spend is strategic, efficient, and aligned with ROI targets.
- Campaign & Brand Activation
- Lead and execute signage sponsorship strategies (e.g., MLB, NBA, and other high-impact placements).
- Manage end-to-end event planning and on-site execution to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Guarantee high-standard execution aligned with core brand positioning.
- Communication & Content Strategy
- Ensure alignment with Global HQ on brand messaging, tone, and communication guidelines.
- Manage PR agencies to craft compelling storytelling, media engagement, and brand visibility.
- Lead proactive/reactive communications including crisis management and customer messaging.
- Direct SNS/digital agency partners to maintain a strong and consistent digital presence.
- Performance Management
- Monitor and manage key brand performance indicators including ePR and Share of Voice (SOV).
- Conduct campaign performance analysis, adjust strategies accordingly, and report insights effectively.
- Take ownership of gauge index and media strategy to drive data-informed decisions.
- Collaboration & Global Communication
- Maintain frequent and effective communication with Global HQ, ensuring local activities reflect global strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison for brand-related updates, approvals, and feedback loops.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7 to 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of both local market dynamics and global brand alignment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external agencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in multicultural and global settings.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for brand storytelling and customer connection.
