Job Overview

As a member of Harbinger's software team, you will play an active role in developing key features, both in-vehicle and outside vehicle supporting cross-functional teams. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead development of user-interface module(s) code-base including graphical application programming and telemetry
  • Determine feature / functional requirements for information cluster, center screen, telematics module, other user interface modules.  
  • Implement communication interfaces for vehicle data and diagnostics 
  • Develop and execute unit-test plans for software verification 
  • Create development pipelines for software deployment 
  • Support development of diagnostic tools for service, manufacturing, and customers 
  • Root-cause reported issues with software, including in-vehicle problem diagnosis 
  • Support fleet service groups in soliciting customer feedback 
  • Support development of customer-facing portals and tools

 

Who You Are:

  • Familiarity with C/C++, Python, Embedded Linux, Qt/Qml, Buildroot, Busybox,
  • Experience developing software test plans and implementing software unit testing and integrated testing using SIL, and HIL environments
  • Familiarity with automotive communication physical layers: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with unit-test frameworks: slash, junit, google test, vectorCast, etc.
  • Experience with requirements authoring tools: Polarion, DOORS, Jama, vizure, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience with debugging tools and troubleshooting both software and hardware
  • Experience in using version controls systems (e.g., Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud based storage APIs, and automation
  • Experience with web development a bonus: React, Go, Terraform, Typescript / JavaScript, and other relevant software tools

$160,000 - $180,000 USD
