Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an ambitious MBA student to join the Capital Markets team. In this role, you will have various opportunities to contribute to help raise capital for the business, through equity, debt, tax credits, or leasing. The primary responsibilities for this position will be researching various fundraising-related topics, creating presentations and spreadsheets, and interacting with potential investors. This role will be perfect for you if you are passionate about sustainability, are interested in private markets and tax credits, and you want to take on an outsized contribution at a company which is growing rapidly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership on investor relations and fundraising initiatives
- Conduct in-depth research on the tax credits and financial tools key to the EV industry
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts key to the business’s operation and fundraising efforts
- Contribute to other strategic, MBA-level projects to answer key questions as the business grows
Required Skills:
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week in addition to studies, with ~2 days working approximately normal business hours; ability to be on-site in our Garden Grove, CA facility during those days preferred
- Enrolled in MBA program; Finance major/concentration preferred
- Experience in venture capital, capital markets, financial strategy, and/or corporate finance preferred; some knowledge required
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency with slides and spreadsheets
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-faceted projects
- Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa
